Data controller
Tachibana collective (association currently being formed) — contact@tachibana.eu.
A deliberately minimal site
tachibana.eu is a static site. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and loads no third-party resources: the fonts are hosted on our own servers. No data is sent to Google, to any social network, or to any external provider.
Data actually processed
Technical logs. Like any web server, our infrastructure records connection logs: IP address, date and time, page requested, response code and browser type (user-agent). They are used solely for security and the proper operation of the service.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: limited to security needs, no longer than necessary.
Email contact. If you write to contact@tachibana.eu, your address and the content of your message are processed for the sole purpose of replying. Legal basis: your own initiative.
Membership and contact form
When you use the form (Join us / Contact), we process the information you provide: name, email address, type of request and message. It is used solely to handle your request (membership, contact or lending hardware) and to reply.
- Legal basis: your consent (checkbox) and, where relevant, pre-contractual steps related to membership.
- Retention: for as long as needed to handle the request, then deletion or limited archiving.
- Recipients: only the members handling the request. No transfer to third parties; hosting within the EU.
- You may withdraw consent or request deletion at any time (see “Your rights”).
Member accounts (members' area)
If you have a member account, we process your email address, name and a password (stored hashed, never in clear text) in order to manage your membership and give you access to the members' area.
- Legal basis: performance of the membership relationship and our legitimate interest in securing access.
- Retention: for the duration of the membership; the account is deleted at the end of membership or on request.
- Strictly necessary cookie: a session cookie (no tracker, no advertising purpose) keeps you signed in and expires automatically.
- You can change your information or request deletion of your account (see “Your rights”).
Recipients and transfers
Data is neither sold nor shared. It is processed within the European Union (hosting and connectivity in France). No transfer outside the EU takes place.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction. To exercise them: contact@tachibana.eu.
You may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in France, the CNIL — cnil.fr).
